The term Business Coaching is used to describe coaching with entrepreneurs of small and medium-sized companies, professionals with private activities or start-up companies. Coaching conversations concentrate on the development of the effectiveness of business activities and those of the entrepreneur or professional. In the last decade, one emerging theme is the generation handover in small and medium sized businesses. Entrepreneurs and professionals are increasingly absorbed nowadays by day-to-day events, thus losing sight of the big picture, the development of their staff, the attention towards their customers, and, very importantly, the balance between their private and working life. The business coach intervenes to help the coachee redefine his purpose, mission and objectives. Working not on what but on who, the coach helps to drive a real transition with significant steps forward.
