The International Coach Federation (ICF), the first international association dedicated to the development and integrity of the profession of coaching, has announced the election of the members of the Board of Directors, in office from January 2008. Giovanna D'Alessio has been elected Secretary/Treasurer. This is the first time that a European coach has occupied such an important position.
"Moving into the leadership of the ICF is certainly an important moment in my professional life. But it is above all the tangible proof of the contribution that Italy has shown it can express in the development of the culture of coaching: this is the result of a path shared with people and companies that have accepted being "flanked" by my experience", as the newly-elected Giovanna D'Alessio commented.
